Table and Floor Lamps
A table lampshade sits on a lamp base which is placed either on a table or sits on the floor if the base is tall. The light fitting sits at the bottom of the shade.
Taking our cue from Forest Gump (yes, weird we know!) we saw it as a natural progression to extend our product offering to include a curated range of cushions to complement our LightenUp lampshades.
We are beyond excited to finally introduce you to our new collection of cushions from three of our favourite Australian designers – Louise Jones, Studio OneThirty and Restore Grace.
In taking this step it was important to us that the cushion makers we chose fitted our ethos of being Australian designed, printed and made.
The gorgeous designs and colours in our cushion range can be easily mixed and matched to add depth and texture to your home decor, and of course look fabulous with a LU lampshade.
Louise Jones fabrics are always a favourite as a lampshade choice, so why not have a cushion to match?
Louise Jones textile designs are digitally printed onto beautiful linen fabric that make this range of cushions so special. The designs feature Louise’s original watercolour paintings and digital photographic collages. You’ll no doubt recognise some of the enchanting botanical prints from our fabric gallery.
A bespoke collection inspired by Australian flora, artist Sarah Kalidis applies her painterly designs to original art, textiles, furnishings and furniture. Sarah’s cushions are a pure delight with their earthy mix of colours and patterns. Studio OneThirty cushions are proudly designed, printed and handmade in Sydney, Australia.
Restore Grace cushions are designed, produced and curated in country NSW. The business is committed to supporting other small business as well as ensuring sustainable production practices.
Restore Grace hand makes small batch productions and, is a fellow BFTB (buyfromthebush) business, which we love!
The Restore Grace collection of plain beautifully pigmented linen cushions are the perfect complement to the botanical design cushions from Louise Jones and Studio OneThirty. Together the collections are a match made in heaven!
In keeping with our desire to embrace sustainability and limit waste going to landfill, we have sourced eco-friendly Australian made cushion inserts from Inner Green.
The inserts are made from non-allergenic PET fibre derived from 100% post consumer water bottles. We love that for every 1kg of fibre used, around 70 water bottles are saved from ending up in landfill.
We have been converted… recycled PET fibre inserts are now the only cushion inserts on our sofas!

Farm life is busy and the days just never seem long enough. I’m sure many of you feel the same!
Therefore, in order to maintain some level of sanity (!) our custom order lampshades are available for limited periods only throughout the year. We will advise the opening dates over social media, or if you are subscriber to our newsletter, you will receive advance notice. It has been an extremely hard decision to make, we hope you understand.
The good news is that our On-line Shop is open 24/7! Here you can access a range of our beautiful lampshades and lamp bases throughout the year.
If you have a gift voucher (lucky you!) this can be used at check-out in our on-line shop, or you can redeem as a custom order when we re-open these.

Drum lampshades are the most popular as the shape is contemporary and suits many different decor styles.
A drum shade is basically a cylinder that has the same diameter measurement across the top of the shade as the bottom.
Empire or “tapered shades” are more traditional. The diameter measurement of the top of the shade is smaller than the measurement at the bottom, creating a tapered effect.
We offer three different sized Empire shades.
